Our factory is in Mehalla, just 120 km from Cairo, Egypt, and not far from Alexandria. The astute reader will note that this puts us right in the middle of the Nile Delta, one of the largest river deltas in the world and a centre of agriculture and textile production for at least 5000 years.

Almost everyone has heard of ‘Egyptian cotton’, which has been famous since modern textiles were developed for the length of its cotton fibres and the unique combination of strength, softness and durability that they convey to the cloth and clothing made from them. We at Elsayaad are proud to take the best traditions of this ancient textile-producing region, and combine them with modern safety and production principles to produce baby and infant clothing and accessories that partake of the best of ancient tradition and modern techniques.
